Global Health Committee
The Global Health Committee will support the Global Health Director in organizing fundraising efforts, coordinating events, and managing media to promote the upcoming mission trip.
Each committee member is required to be on the mission trip, report to the Global Health Director weekly, attend committee meetings (if necessary), work with other members.
Description of each chair:
Fundraising Chair
Works with the MSO fundraising chair to brainstorm/set up fundraisers specific to Global Health/mission trip
Reaching out to organizations to set up fundraisers
Making sure the fundraisers go smoothly
Events chair
Can work with VP of connections to reserve rooms, collaborate with other orgs, etc..
Helps with events like Global Health week (once a semester)
In charge of coordinating setting up/tearing down for fundraising events (ex: bake sale)
Social media chair
Works with Media chair and social chair
Creates social media updates and advertising/flyers
Designing Global Health Merchandise (if applicable)
In charge of taking pictures/videos during the trip
